Lodging
The Penguicon hotel is still taking reservations. More information on reserving a room is here. Please direct all calls for reserving a room to The Crown Plaza Hotel. The corporate headquarters of any hotel chain is sometimes not as clueful as their friendly local hotel staff.
Eating
The complimentary Consuite is great for quenching your thirst and eating cereal, fruit, sandwiches, soup, chupaquesos, and so forth. That comes included with your registration badge. However, we recommend one non-Consuite meal per day.
We will also serve Brazilian Beef on Saturday to those who preregister for it when you register for Penguicon.
Volunteering
You can get all kinds of things by working a few hours on easy tasks. Sit in front of a door checking attendance badges, carry things, watch the Anime room and change DVDs, load or unload the truck, or other random unskilled labor. We use a paper currency called Whuffie, which is spent to receive rewards. See the Volunteering page for the latest details. Last updated April 11.
